Service I
Communications by Cellular Phones
Cellular phone communication, also known as mobile communication, is one of the most widely used wireless communication technologies in modern society.
The core of this system is the cellular network. The whole service area is divided into many small "cells", and each cell is covered by a base station. When people make calls, send messages or surf the Internet with mobile phones, signals will be transmitted between the phone and the nearest base station. Then the base station forwards signals to the central communication network to realize information exchange between different users.
Compared with traditional wired communication, cellular phone communication has obvious advantages: it is portable, flexible and not limited by fixed lines. With the upgrading of mobile communication generations (from 2G, 3G, 4G to 5G), its functions keep expanding. It not only supports voice calls and short messages, but also realizes high-speed Internet access, video chat, mobile payment and various online services.
Today, cellular phones have greatly changed people’s life, work and social interaction. They shorten the distance between people and make global communication more convenient and efficient.
